There’s so much wow stuff around that actually I’m quite liking the simplicity of these little Aveda shades. Aveda is more known for its shampoos and hair products, but they do also have a small make up range. These Petal Essence singles are £11.25 each, so quite expensive, but their USP is that they are infused with flower waxes and have a very slight floral scent. Overlooking the west Algarve coast in Lagos, Portugal, this contemporary residence encourages moments of contemplation and a lifestyle based on modern living solutions. The House in Lagos displays uncomplicated interior spaces designed by architect Mario Martins for the enjoyment of the inhabitants. Flooded with westerly sun, the modern residential structure rises two stories in the air and can be accessed via a suspended concrete walkway. Constructed on a steep slope, the two-level contemporary residence rests on an exposed concrete base supporting the sculptural concrete glass and wood construction.
The roof acts as a freeing contemplation space where inhabitants and guests can put aside thoughts about their stressful life and just enjoy the magnificent nature, water and rooftops.
